Instead, The Body Shop offered a line of products that promised benefits other than appearance—healthier skin, for instance—rather than simply a better-looking complexion. The company is known for pioneering the natural-ingredient cosmetic market and establishing social responsibility as an integral part of company operations. The Body Shop is known for its ethical stances, such as its monetary donations to the communities in which it operates, and its business partnerships with developing countries. 2、雅思阅读的核心词汇其实是四六级的常用词汇，这个在网上有下载。不一定要去背那些生僻的专业的词汇，因为有时不用知道该名词是什么意思也可以做对。
3、针对关键词搜索答案的方法十分有用，但关键是要懂得选择关键词。关键词一般具有特殊性和不可替代性的特点，切忌不能看到大写或黑体就狂喜，不然就会发现可能全篇都是关键词。
4、如果时间充足，一定要多看外刊，掌握外文写作思路，将十分有利于破题。
5、巧妙分配时间很重要。拿到卷子翻翻看有什么题型，先把容易拿分的题型攻下。2009-4-25的雅思一条list of
heading和summary都没有，却出现了接近23条matching，狂汗！本人再次以血泪教训叮嘱各位战友考场上一定要保持冷静，遇难题目时以不变应万变，花45-50分钟精读两篇文章，确保24题的正确率，保6分。剩下的一篇能做对6道的话，那就有7分了！
6、细节真的很重要，在t/f/ng题时，一定要严格按照它要求的格式写答案，比方说要求填true的，就绝对不可以写成yes或者true。我因为不细心而白白丢了宝贵的两题。
写作：
1、首先，我觉得写作是一个要肯下苦功的活儿，写作功底的重要性是不言自明的，尤其对出国留学申请、读书、查阅外籍资料十分有用。即便现在靠雕虫小技过关，到国外还是要扎扎实实地学起，不然吃亏的是自己。不如就趁着备考雅思的时间把写作功底练好，十分有益。
2、推荐新东方陈国辉老师的博客，里面有很多老师总结的心得体会、写作思路、技巧方法，很实用（虽然我极少上去看，因为时间实在太紧了，但是不少同学反映都说不错）。
3、另外，选一本好的实用的写作辅导书十分重要。我用的是新东方的雅思写作，是陈国辉老师编的，我觉得很好用，基本雅思要用的素材都在里面。同时，要练习写长句（至少三十个单词），对长句就行修改，这样十分有利于写好开头和每段的中心句，对架起文章的脉络十分重要。再者，陈老师教的方法，多背同义词、同义词组，这样行文便能多彩丰富，是语言能力的一个重要体现。
4、坚持每天或每隔一天写一篇，并要在规定的时间内完成。这个功夫不能省，绝对不能省。所谓磨刀不误砍柴工，考前至少写十篇以上（两个task各十篇，重点是task2），基本可以保证考试时候不会出现字数不足、时间不够的情况。有条件的话一定要请外教或英语老师帮忙修改。我和我partner就是对教写作外教死缠难打，捉住她帮忙修改，经过专业人士指导一下，效果是十分明显的。ps：请老师帮忙修改一定要很有礼貌，因为很多外教反映改作文是一件很痛苦的事情哦。
5、考场上切记要注意时间分配，task1绝对不能超过二十分钟，task2要保证有四十分钟，最好留两分钟进行修改，这样可以避免很多低级错误的出现，作文的整体印象会大大提升。如果是速度较慢的战友，建议先写task2，因为它分值大，重要程度远甚于task1。
