记得当年申请学校也没有什么中介可以咨询，完全凭自己一手之力，找资料、递材料……飞赴加拿大的时候，还好有一个同伴，是父母好友的女儿，两个人去同一所学校。说起学校来，当时我还是有些心理波动，虽然是去国外读书，刚开始读的却是一所非常普通的学校，在人们眼里就相当于美国的社区大学。她心想自己怎么着也好歹是个重点高中的尖子生，考个重本没啥问题，甚至有希望去清华北大之类的名校。而且当时人们的收入没有现在这么高，家里虽然条件不错，但还是一笔蛮大的支出。这样的决定多少有些不成功便成仁的感觉。现在回忆起来觉得自己并没有后悔当初的决定。
落地才知要租房

落地才知要租房
在申请学校的过程中，发生了一个小插曲，当时我的签证实际上已经下来了，但是负责的签证官休假了还没有寄出，而到四月份我就必须要出去了，弄得我很着急。还好，我赶得巧，在出发前拿到了签证。因为当时申请加拿大留学虽然比美国容易，但是拒签率仍然接近一半。
