1、什么是教育学？
教育学是一门社会科学，以教育现象、教育问题为研究对象，归纳总结人类教育活动的科学理论与实践，探索解决教育活动产生、发展过程中遇到的实际教育问题，从而揭示出一般教育规律。它是专门研究“培养什么样的人才、采取什么样的方法教育”的一门学问。教育学主要培养具有较强的教育科研、教学、管理、咨询和辅导能力的专业人才。
2、加拿大教育硕士录取要求
【硬性要求】
本科成绩：平均分80%以上，85%以上有竞争力；
雅思和托福：加拿大教育硕士对于雅思的最低要求为6.5分，小分不低于6，而对于大部分教育硕士来说，雅思的要求要7分以上；托福的要求为93-100，小分至少不低于22分；
GRE/GMAT：教育硕士不需要GRE或GMAT成绩
背景要求：教育硕士比较适合本科为教育学，英语，语言学，对外汉语，心理学等文科类专业的学生申请。不过只要有合适的实习或工作经验，任何专业的学生都是可以尝试申请教育硕士的。
【柔性要求】
适时申请（第一批次可提高成功率30%）、院校专业的合理规划、文书撰写（PS、CV，Essay等）、工作/实习经验、是否具备一定领导力，都属于教育的柔性要求。
即使学生满足了所有硬性条件，但柔性要求满足不了，依然不能保证录取。每年都有硬性条件高分的学生，柔性要求吃了亏，导致申请失败，同时，也有很多学生硬性条件一般，但柔性部分好，最终成功申请、就读了理想大学。

备注：麦吉尔大学的教育学算是顶尖大学里的教育学中相对好申请的，不过一定要记得申请Non-Thesis的课程。尽量多提供和申请方向相关的实习经验，同时均分一定要够高。
2.MasterofEducationinEducationalPsychology教育心理学硕士
学制：12个月
录取要求：均分85，雅思6.5或托福86（20），虽然是给出的这个语言要求，但建议雅思7或托福90以上再申，本科专业心理学或相关
备注：该专业每年招的人很少，一般在5个左右，同时上课的时间主要以晚上和周末为主。不过确实是全日制的正规硕士。
多伦多大学：

学制：16个月

备注：温莎的教育学硕士课程设置为两年，毕业后可得三年工签，雅思5.5分可以双录。
布鲁克大学
MasterofEducation/TESL（直录）教育学硕士
学制：16个月/14个月
录取要求：均分80以上，雅思6.5（5.5）或托福80（19），可以提供双录取：雅思5分或托福61
备注：布鲁克的教育学硕士可以提供双录取，入读MPCE教育预科，读完后需重新申请MED(ISP)，提交直录的雅思成绩，有优先录取权；
海本的国际生申请硕士不可以免雅思托福成绩；
TESL的课程长度为14个月，如果担心不能保障3年工签的学生可选择教育学硕士课程入读。

备注：结合魁北克省的1800学时，临毕业前即可提交移民申请的政策，毕索大学的教育学硕士不要求本科专业，均分可降至75分录取的条件，该专业自招生开始一直属于较热门专业。
